Артисти, работещи в сферата на дигиталните медии (фотография, видео, саунд арт, дигитални инсталации, интернет арт и др.), могат да предложат оригинални концепции и интерпретации по проекта "Тютюневия град" в Пловдив.

Това стана ясно при представянето на онлайн платформата "Тютюневия град" на фондация "Пловдив 2019". Презентацията се състоя тази вечер в артистичното пространство на клуб Stage 51, който също се помещава в тютюнев склад.

Предложенията за Тютюневия град се приемат до 31 юли 2016 на имейл: [email protected]. Няма възрастови ограничения, нито такива, засягащи националната принадлежност на артистите.

Всички получени произведения и проекти ще бъдат представени онлайн. Селекция на най-добрите от тях ще бъде показана в изложба в Тютюневия град в Пловдив и в други градове Европейски столици на културата.

От фондация "Пловдив 2019" препоръчват да се изпращат линкове за онлайн достъп или такива, чрез които файловете да бъдат изтеглени, когато са по-големи.

"Пловдив 2019 е кауза на града и в изпълнение на тази кауза се занимаваме и с тютюневите складове. Нарекох ги Тютюневия град, защото ми трябваше образ, който да се помни. Имам предвид не само тази структура, а целия град, защото в продължение на целия ХХ век Пловдив се е издържал и с парите от тютюн. Много е престижно да казваме, че сме град на художници, такива сме, но плюс всичко друго Пловдив е и Тютюнев град", сподели Пенка Калинкова, създател на идеята и филма за Тютюневия град.

Тя отново припомни, че напоследък се тиражират доста неверни факти във връзка с разрушения склад, като например твърдението, че именно в него е сниман филмът по романа на Димитър Димов "Тютюн". "Колкото и да ни се иска, филмът не е сниман тук, а в Асеновград. От това обаче ролята на Пловдив не намалява, защото романът е написан тук, в нашия град, и това е достатъчен повод за гордост", подчерта Калинкова. Тя бе категорична, че уебплатоформата няма да разреши проблемите на Тютюневия град, но тя ще направи по-познаваем и градът, и възможните решения, и цялата проблематика, свързана с това уникално място.

Екипът на общинската фондация работи по онлайн платформата на проекта "Тютюневия град" от края на миналата година. Идеята да се създаде общност, да се предостави и трибуна да се даде възможност за дебат, особено в контекста на скандалното разрушаване на сградата на ул. "Одрин" 8, което разбуни духовете в Пловдив. Същевременно стартира и кампания за набиране на средства, с които да се промени обликът на тютюневите складове в Града под тепетата.

От днес на площад "Централен" в Пловдив е подредена и съпътстваща изложба, представяща съдържанието на уебплатформата и историята и бъдещето на Тютюневия град. На темата "Тютюн" е посветен и новият брой на списание "Нула 32", който бе представен паралелно със сайта.
